One of the best celebration in Lakeland takes place on July 3, 2014 – Red, White & Kaboom at Lake Mirror’s Frances Langford Promenade.  This fun filled free event for the whole family with live music by Da Smith & the Soul Injectors starts at 6PM and at the conclusion around 9PM, an astounding fireworks display occurs over Lake Mirror.

D.A. Smith & The Soul Injectors know how to bring the party to Lakeland with their high energetic soul-funk R&B party music of the 60’s, 70’s and current hit songs that will certainly bring you to your feet and sing along.

This free event, okay maybe not totally free if you consider bringing one canned food, which will benefit VISTE.  The city of Lakeland parking garages will be open.

Bring your blankets and enjoy this great summer event celebrating Independence Day one day early. A variety of vendors serve food and drinks throughout this event, so you and your family won’t go thirsty and hungry. 

4th of July Celebration with Lakeland’s Flying Tigers

4th of July Celebration hosted by the Lakeland Flying Tigers – Gates open at 4:00PM. Venue: Joker Marchant Stadium, 2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33805

Purchase tickets in advance to get the best seats and avoid long lines. Tickets are available by calling the Flying Tigers at  (863) 686-8075 or by visiting www.LakelandFlyingTigers.com.

The Flying Tigers will take on the Tampa Yankees at 5:00PM, the team will wear their special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys.  Live music and entertainment will follow the game.

A spectacular fireworks show will start at around 9:15PM. Be dazzled by two amazing, choreographed dueling fireworks displays that will brilliantly light up the night sky.
